Christ, the Same Today and Forever – My Daily Bread!
Our call to praise our Lord is taken from Hebrews 13: 8, NIV, which reads:
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
As we rejoice in the meaning of Christ’s birth we find wonderful comfort in this passage for it speaks to our God’s unchanging purpose and everlasting love. The same love that allowed God to give His Son as a sacrifice for mankind is the same love that does not allow us to be consumed as we walk in His footsteps. We live in a world where everything is changing constantly. Those who believe in Christ Jesus can rejoice that Jesus always remains the same! He is our Light of the World, our Great High Priest and Holy Redeemer!
