Words of Rejoicing and Praise!

Words of Rejoicing and Praise – My Daily Bread!

Our courage to praise and hold on to the Living God is taken from Psalm 31: 21-24, NIV, which read:

“Praise be to the Lord, for He showed His wonderful love to me when I was in a besieged city.  In my alarm I said: ‘I am cut off from your sight!’  Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.  Love the Lord all His saints!  The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud He pays back in full.  Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

We have all been in a ‘besieged city’, a time or place in our lives where we felt that we were cut off from the sight of the Living God.  All alone, and then we called to our Lord and His mercy was our help.  Because He lives our faith was preserved and our hearts were strengthened to hope and press on!  Saints, our God is faithful and because of His great love, we face our trials with blessed assurance because we know He holds the future!  Let us praise Him for His merciful grace and for the hand that holds, shapes and molds us for the eternal life in His Kingdom!  For this is our comfort, this is our peace!  Allalujah!
