Rejoice in the Lord With Me!

Rejoice in the Lord With Me – My Daily Bread!

Our call to rejoice before the Lord in all our circumstances is found in Psalm 70:4, NIV which reads:

“But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, ‘Let God be exalted!’”

When the Lord shows up and show out on our behalf, we have no choice but to rejoice!  Our hearts cannot be silent, for the Mighty One of Israel has blessed me, yes even me!  For “blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.  They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness.  For you are their glory and strength, and by Your favor you exalt our horn.  Indeed our shield belongs to the Lord, our king to the Holy One of Israel.”  (Psalm 89; 15-18, NIV)  To acclaim the Lord means to welcome or salute Him with shouts or sounds of joy.  Is this your response Saints when God shows forth His goodness in your life?  May you make beautiful melody to the Lord for the things He has done!  His mercy, love and faithfulness encamp at the gates of those who seek His face!

Let us  rejoice in what the Lord has done!  Shout His magnificent praise to the highest height for He is good and His mercy endures forever!  Let the redeemed of the Lord say Amen!
