The Grace of My Sisters!

The Grace of My Sisters!

Our courage to praise our God for His goodness is taken from Acts 4: 33, NKJV which reads:

“And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.  And great grace was upon them all.”

I was reminded of these words today while attending our Women’s Bible Study fellowship at Great Commission Bible Church in Hamilton, as we came together in sweet fellowship before the Lord.  The apostles witnessed to the power of the resurrection of the Son of God!  And today my dear Sisters also bore witness to the power of the resurrection by way of their testimonies; they spoke of the great grace of the Lord that was manifest in their lives.  Grace that has the power to kindle their hearts for the Lord!

Speaking of the Apostle John’s witness to the death of Christ and His resurrection, the Scripture tells us:  “And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.” (John 10: 35, NKJV)  The witness of others is a wonderful gift from the Lord!  Through their expressions of faith we too are encouraged to believe even in this age where many do not call upon the name of the Lord!

Saints do not be afraid to proclaim the marvelous deeds of the Lord in your life in the assembly of the Saints!  Proclaim His peace and mercy and exalt His name to the highest of heights!  Rejoice in the testimonies of the Saints the Lord has given you.  They are your peace and your comfort and a reminder of the faithfulness of the Lord!

Prayer:  Thank you Lord for the voices of my Sisters today, for their expressions of love, hope and faithfulness at your feet.  I thank you for the voices of Darlene, Renee, Wanda, Beverly, Aliah, Doris, Opal, Elaine, Maya, Shaunda, and Shannon who sang of your love and bore witness to your great grace that was indeed upon your servants!  Your Spirit moved among us and we were humbled by Your presence!  Continue to bless the works of our hands and all we do in your will; honor our prayers and ministry as only You know how as we bless Your Holy Name!  Amen!
