A Saving Grace!

A Saving Grace – My Daily Bread!

Our call to savor Christ Jesus is found in 2 Timothy 1: 10 which read:

“This Grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

What a sweet witness about God’s love for us – a Grace that Saves!   In this season of Christmas we are reminded that the birth of Christ is about God’s mercy and grace, about the abundant life that can be lived through Christ Jesus today if we believe and the promise of eternal life to come!   It speaks to a love so great that sacrifices beyond what we can imagine were made.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”  (John 3:16)

What God purposed for His Son while He was here on earth is also evident in His name.   The Hebrew name for Jesus is Yeshua which means salvation!    We can rejoice that the mighty God we serve is in the saving business!  He honors us with His grace that covers our sins and washes us white as snow!

Praise:  Hosanna!  Hosanna!  Our hearts are lifted to You Lord, for you have provided the horn of our salvation and a grace that saves!   You spoke a Word and men were created in Your image.   And even now you make me over to conform to the image of your Son!  We praise Him for He is the Stone that the Builders Rejected that is highly exalted for He sits at your right  hand, the Holy and Righteous Lion of Judah, the Lamb of God,  the Prince of Peace, He is Wonderful, Our Bright Morning Star, (Revelation 22:16); Our Precious God With Us – Immanuel!  (Matthew 1: 23)
