The Saints Prayer – My Daily Bread!
Our call to pray is taken from Ephesians 1: 15-19 which reads:
“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayer. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope in which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”
Sometimes all we need is a prayer; words spoken over us to call us to our blessedness in Christ. Perhaps you have not had the time to pray over your fellow brothers and sisters who God has placed alongside you to help bring you to the place that He has for you.
So if there has been any encouragement, any love, any increase in faith and any increase in joy by those who strive with you in the faith, take a minute to pray the prayer of the Apostle Paul above; that they may be strengthened through and through by the power of God that is at work in us – to the praise of His Holy Name. Because I’m just saying, sometimes all we need is a prayer.
