Everlasting Love – My Daily Bread!
Our call to savor our Lord’s love is found in Psalm 103: 15-17, NIV which reads:
“As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower in the field; the wind blows over it and it is done, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him.”
God’s love is what avails us of His grace. Without His love, there would be no grace, the unmerited favor, the undeserved gift that does not count our trespasses against us, though they be many. Since the beginning of time when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, God’s love has never waned for the human creatures that were made in His image.
And though we are frail, a wisp of air, here today and gone tomorrow; like a blade of grass browning in the sun, not able to live without the breath of our Creator; and yet from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is for those that fear Him! So precious to God! Saints let us rejoice in this good favor for in it we are reminded of God’s care for us and it comforts our hearts. To know that His everlasting love sustains us day by day is a blessing worth cherishing!
Praise: My heart lifts itself to you Lord for I am yours and you are mine. I long to bask in the joy of your presence, to sit at your feet and know the wonders of your mighty love. Each day, each beat of my heart, every breath is because of you! I praise you for my life Father, a life redeemed by the blood – for you remember me from everlasting to everlasting.
